World Food Programme Continues Food Aid for Needy Children in Afghanistan

The World Food Programme (WFP) has announced that hundreds of thousands of children in Afghanistan have been able to meet their basic food needs through humanitarian assistance. The agency emphasized that these supports are vital to prevent the spread of hunger among vulnerable children.
According to the WFP, Afghanistan continues to face serious economic challenges, a situation that limits many families’ access to sufficient and nutritious food. Children in such conditions are among the most vulnerable groups in society.
The agency added that despite existing difficulties, it will persist in its efforts to deliver food aid to various regions across the country. The aim of these programs is to prevent malnutrition and save needy children from the risk of hunger.
The World Food Programme is one of the largest international aid organizations and has played a significant role in responding to humanitarian crises in Afghanistan in recent years. It distributes a considerable portion of food aid in coordination with local organizations.
