Qarqash: Washington and Tehran Nearing Expected Agreement to Ease Tensions

Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, has stated that Washington and Tehran are close to signing an anticipated agreement. According to him, the deal could reduce existing tensions and pave the way for opening a political path.

Gargash expressed hope in a message that this potential agreement will succeed and ‘close the chapter of war.’ He emphasized that such a deal could contribute to greater stability in the region.

The UAE official also praised his country’s leadership for its crisis management, commending what he described as the ‘wisdom, perseverance, and flexibility of Abu Dhabi.’

Gargash further added that the United Arab Emirates has never sought war and has always emphasized peace and stability in the region. His remarks come amid ongoing developments in US-Iran relations, a persistent critical issue in Middle Eastern political dynamics.
