Pakistani Military Helicopter Crashes in Kashmir, All Onboard Killed

The Pakistan Army has announced that a Mi-17 military helicopter belonging to its Air Force crashed on Wednesday near Muzaffarabad city in Kashmir, resulting in the death of all onboard.
In an official statement, the Pakistan Army said the helicopter crashed due to a “technical issue” and no one survived the incident. Muzaffarabad serves as the administrative center of the Pakistan-controlled region of Kashmir.
According to military officials, rescue teams have been dispatched to the area, and a committee has been formed to investigate the exact technical cause of the accident.
An eyewitness told Reuters that the helicopter crashed during takeoff and then caught fire. Firefighters were reportedly trying to extinguish the flames.
