Three Armed Robbers Killed in Gunfight with Security Forces in Helmand

Officials in Helmand have reported that three armed robbers were killed following an attack on a currency exchange in the center of Gereshk district, during a confrontation with security forces. In the incident, two local residents were also injured.
Abdul Bari Rashid, Head of Information and Culture in Helmand under the Taliban administration, stated that the assailants entered a currency exchange with weapons and attempted a robbery. According to him, security forces arrived promptly at the scene and engaged the attackers in an armed clash.
According to the information provided, all three attackers were killed as a result of the firefight. No further details have been released regarding the condition of the injured or the amount of money stolen.
Gereshk district is considered one of the busy areas of Helmand, and similar security incidents have been reported there in the past.
