India and UAE Finalize Key Defense and Energy Agreements

India and the United Arab Emirates have finalized a series of crucial agreements in the fields of defense, energy, and advanced technologies. These accords cover military cooperation, maritime security, cybersecurity, and innovation development.
According to reports, the two countries emphasized expanding military coordination and strengthening security in vital regional waterways. Cooperation in cybersecurity and the exchange of expertise in cutting-edge technologies were also highlighted as main aspects of these agreements.
In the energy sector, the UAE announced it will increase its crude oil reserves stored in India. Additionally, strategic storage facilities will be made accessible to India at the Port of Fujairah, a move that could enhance India’s energy security.
The Indian government also disclosed that the UAE plans to make new investments worth billions of dollars across various economic sectors in India. These investments are part of both nations’ efforts to deepen economic and strategic cooperation between New Delhi and Abu Dhabi.
