Saudi Arabia Distributes 878 Food Baskets to Returning Afghan Migrants

The Saudi Embassy in Kabul has announced that the King Salman Foundation has distributed 878 food baskets to Afghan migrants returning from Pakistan. These aid packages were delivered to beneficiaries in the Takhta Pul district of Kandahar province.
On Sunday, May 3rd, the Saudi Embassy released a statement saying that the distribution process was carried out in cooperation with the Tawheed Institute. According to the embassy, families returning from abroad benefited from these food baskets.
The embassy’s press release stated that this initiative is part of the “Food Security and Emergency Assistance Project in Afghanistan” for the years 2025–2026. The project aims to support vulnerable and needy families.
Previously, the King Salman Foundation has provided humanitarian aid to returning migrants and other needy families in various parts of Afghanistan.
