Two Suspects Arrested for Killing Four Family Members in Logar Province
Authorities in Logar province have announced the arrest of two individuals suspected of killing four members of a family in the provincial capital. The incident occurred on Monday night in the village of Hesarak, located in the center of Logar.
According to a statement released today by the Press and Public Relations Office of the Logar governor’s office, the victims included a father, mother, and two children. Security forces began investigations and were able to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
The statement added that the arrested individuals confessed to the crime during interrogation, citing robbery as the primary motive. Based on their confessions, after entering the home and being recognized by the family members, they killed all four to eliminate evidence.
The governor’s office further stated that the suspects’ cases will be referred to judicial authorities for additional investigation and the implementation of legal punishment according to Islamic law.
