Four Family Members Mysteriously Killed in Logar Province

Local sources in Logar province confirm that four members of a family were killed by unidentified armed individuals in the Fayzi Kala area of Hisarak village, near the provincial center. The incident occurred last night, and the victims included a man named Musa, his wife, and their two young sons.

According to sources, masked gunmen entered the family’s home at night and fatally shot them. The assailants fled the scene after the attack.

Sources add that Taliban security forces arrived at the area this morning and have begun investigations; however, no leads regarding the perpetrators have been found so far. It is reported that only a blanket was discovered inside the house, and the victims’ bodies were transferred by Taliban forces for further examination.

The motive behind these killings remains unclear, and no individual or group has claimed responsibility. This comes amid a rise in similar mysterious killings in parts of Logar and other provinces in recent months.

The continuation of such incidents under the Taliban administration has caused widespread fear and concern among local residents. Citizens demand security assurance, identification, and punishment of those responsible for such acts—requests that remain unanswered amid the recurring mysterious murders.
