Man Arrested with 510 Grams of Methamphetamine and 669 Drug Pills in Kabul

Officials from the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ministry of Interior have announced the arrest of a man in the vicinity of District 16 in Kabul city, found carrying 510 grams of methamphetamine and 669 narcotic pills of the “Ca” type. According to the ministry, the individual intended to sell these substances.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, it was noted that this operation was part of efforts to prevent the distribution and sale of narcotics in the capital. No further details have been provided regarding the identity of the arrested individual or any potential network connected to him.

While the Taliban administration consistently cites the fight against narcotics as one of its priorities, residents in some areas of Kabul still express concern over the easy access to narcotic substances.
