House Roof Collapse in Laghman Injures Four, Including Two Women

Authorities of the Taliban administration in Laghman have reported that the collapse of a house roof in the city of Mehtarlam has injured four people, including two women. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, 30 Hamal, in the Badi Abad area of the provincial capital.

Kheir Mohammad Ghazi, head of the Disaster Management Department of the Taliban administration in Laghman, cited heavy rainfall as the cause of the incident. According to him, the injured were transferred to a hospital and their medical condition is reported to be stable.

In recent weeks, heavy rains in several provinces of the country have resulted in both financial and human losses. Similar cases of house roof collapses have been reported this solar month in various areas, including Laghman.

The Taliban administration has announced that at least 179 people have died nationwide due to rains and other natural disasters during this period.
