Five Killed in Collision Between Two Tanker Trucks in Baghlan Province

Five people lost their lives following a collision between two tanker trucks in Doshi district of Baghlan province. The incident occurred last night in the Zardsang area. Mawlavi Samiullah Misbah, Head of the Information Department of Baghlan’s Information and Culture Directorate under the Taliban administration, stated that in addition to the two tanker trucks, a Corolla car and two Hino-type vehicles were also damaged in the accident. According to him, firefighting teams, security police, and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident. Investigations to determine the primary cause of the crash are ongoing. Traffic accidents are common on the highways of Baghlan, which are among the country’s busiest routes, causing annual casualties and financial losses.
