Trump Requests $152 Million to Restore Alcatraz as High-Security Prison

Donald Trump, President of the United States, has requested $152 million from Congress to renovate the historic Alcatraz prison. He intends to transform the site, long known as a popular tourist attraction, back into a high-security penitentiary.

Alcatraz is located on an island in San Francisco Bay and is one of the most famous prisons in American history. It has not housed any inmates for over 60 years, and many parts of the facility are currently dilapidated and close to ruin.
