Three-Day Seminar Held for Governors and District Chiefs in Kandahar

The Taliban administration in Kandahar province has organized a three-day seminar attended by governors and district chiefs from across Afghanistan. This training program aims to introduce administrative duties, the implementation of laws, and especially how to interact with the local population.
Speakers at the event strive to raise awareness among participants about the importance of adhering to laws and better local governance methods. Governors and district chiefs have also been urged to treat residents of their areas more humanely and effectively.
Despite claims that this training is intended to improve local administration, this initiative by the Taliban administration comes while the regime lacks legal legitimacy both nationally and internationally. Many residents of the country continue to complain about incomplete, repressive, and unaccountable local governance.
