Trump Says US Does Not Need Help from Zelensky

Donald Trump, President of the United States, stated that Washington does not need assistance from Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine. In an interview with NBC, he said, “We do not need help… The last person we need help from is Zelensky.”
Trump also declined to answer questions about whether the US might use Ukrainian anti-drone technologies, offering no further details on the matter.
These remarks come as Zelensky had previously said that he received a request from the United States for cooperation in countering drones in the Middle East. According to him, orders were given to provide the necessary resources and the presence of Ukrainian forces in the relevant areas in the Middle East for this purpose.
Drones have become a significant tool in military conflicts in recent years, and technical cooperation in countering them forms part of the security interactions between countries. However, Trump’s recent statements suggest differing views in Washington regarding such collaborations.
