New York Times: US Spends $11.3 Billion in First Six Days of War with Iran

The New York Times has reported that the United States incurred military expenses exceeding $11.3 billion in the first six days of the war with Iran. This figure is based on a report submitted by the US Department of Defense to Congress.

According to Al Mayadeen network, the American newspaper, citing informed sources, wrote that the Pentagon has provided lawmakers with details of the initial military operation costs, with total expenditures reaching over eleven billion dollars in less than a week.

The report states that this amount includes operational and military expenses during the early days of the conflict, a period typically characterized by extensive military maneuvers.

Some analysts have noted that such a level of spending in a short period indicates significant financial pressure from the war on the United States’ defense structure and budget, a factor that could influence the country’s future political and economic decision-making.
