Taliban Forces Destroy Pakistani Military Outpost in Nangarhar

Officials from the Taliban’s 201 Khalid bin Walid Corps reported that their forces targeted and destroyed a Pakistani military outpost along the alleged border line in Goshta district, Nangarhar province.

Maulvi Wahidullah Muhammadi, spokesperson for this corps, stated that the incident took place today in the Garu area along the so-called imaginary border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. According to him, the operation was conducted under the name “Red Al-Dhulm” (Rejection of Oppression).

According to the provided information, forces from the second frontier brigade affiliated with the first battalion of this corps targeted the Pakistani military outpost using mortars and an SPG-9 recoilless rifle, resulting in the complete destruction of the outpost.

So far, Pakistani officials have not issued any official response regarding this claim. Tensions along the border line between Afghanistan and Pakistan have repeatedly led to armed clashes in recent years; an issue that has continually concerned residents of the border areas and is considered to require responsible and transparent management from both sides.
