Afghanistan’s Chargé d’Affaires in Muscat Attends Regional Developments Meeting

The Embassy of Afghanistan in Muscat announced that Hafiz Omar, the chargé d’affaires of the embassy, participated in a meeting on recent regional and global developments at the official invitation of Oman’s Foreign Minister.
According to the embassy, Mr. Omar, in his speech, outlined Afghanistan’s position and the general situation of the country, referring to what he described as “malicious attempts” to destabilize the region. No further details on these matters were provided.
Based on published information, the participants in the meeting emphasized resolving regional and global challenges through dialogue and diplomacy and regarded the establishment of lasting stability as requiring joint cooperation.
