Border Clash in Khost: Afghan and Pakistani Forces Exchange Fire

The spokesperson for Khost province under the Taliban administration announced that moments ago, Pakistani forces targeted areas of Barikhilo in the Gerbez district with artillery fire. According to the spokesperson, this shelling struck the homes of local residents.

Mustaafir Gerbez told the media that in response to this action, Afghan forces precisely targeted a Pakistani military position in the Ghulam Khan area. He emphasized that a military fortress belonging to the opposing side was hit during this attack.

So far, no details have been released regarding casualties or possible damages resulting from this exchange of fire. The border areas of Khost, especially Gerbez district and the Ghulam Khan crossing, have previously witnessed similar tensions and clashes between the two sides.
