Norwegian Refugee Council Reports Displacement of Nangarhar and Kunar Residents Due to Pakistan-Related Clashes

The Norwegian Refugee Council has announced that as a result of clashes related to Pakistan, a significant number of residents from the provinces of Nangarhar and Kunar have been forced to leave their homes. The organization states that affected families have fled their main residing areas due to insecurity.
According to the council’s information, field teams have met with displaced families and closely assessed their conditions. Through these evaluations, the immediate needs of these families have been identified.
Nangarhar and Kunar are eastern provinces of the country that, because of their proximity to the Durand Line, occasionally witness tensions and border conflicts. Displacement in these areas often subjects families to serious challenges regarding shelter, food supplies, and health services.
