Collapse of House Roof in Helmand Kills Two Children, Injures Two Women

The Helmand Department of Information and Culture announced that the roof of a residential house collapsed in the Sangin district of the province, resulting in the deaths of two children and injuries to two women.
According to Abdul Bari Rashid, head of Helmand’s Department of Information and Culture under the Taliban administration, the incident occurred yesterday in the ‘Josh-Hali’ area of Sangin district. He specified that the victims were a girl and a boy.
Based on the information provided, the two injured women are under medical care and their health condition is reported to be satisfactory.
Helmand province, located in southern Afghanistan, is one of the areas where many residents live in mud and fragile houses that offer little resistance to natural incidents and wear. However, no further details have been given regarding measures to ensure the safety of residential buildings in this district.
