Search Continues for Missing Bodies after Pakistani Military Attack in Behsud

Two days after a Pakistani military assault on parts of Nangarhar province, the bodies of four victims remain missing in Behsud district. The attack, which targeted the Gardi Kach area, resulted in 13 deaths, with burial ceremonies held yesterday.
According to local Nangarhar officials, alongside the Behsud victims, airstrikes in Khogiani and Momandara districts also caused casualties. Two children were wounded in Khogiani.
It was also reported that another child was injured in Momandara district due to heavy machine gun fire, specifically from a ‘Daeshka’ weapon, used by Pakistani forces. The Daeshka is a type of heavy automatic weapon commonly used in military conflicts.
Officials added that three injured civilians from Khogiani and Momandara districts were transferred to Nangarhar regional hospital for treatment. So far, no further information has been released regarding the fate of the four missing individuals.
