Putin Open to Meeting Zelensky in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that he is ready to meet and negotiate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Moscow, should Zelensky wish to do so. Putin made these remarks on Wednesday during a press conference in Beijing.
He explained that the proposal followed a request from U.S. President Donald Trump, which was conveyed during their recent meeting in Alaska.
Putin emphasized that he has no objection to holding the meeting, provided that the talks are properly organized and yield positive results. He added, “If the President of Ukraine is willing, he can come to Moscow, and the meeting will take place.”
These comments come as Russia’s war against Ukraine continues, while the Taliban administration has repeatedly remained silent on the global conflict, including its impacts on Afghanistan. The lack of a clear stance by the Taliban on international crises has raised questions about their position in the global arena.
