Taliban Detains Emerald Trader from Panjshir in Kabul

Local sources confirm that the Taliban administration has detained an emerald trader from Panjshir province in Kabul. According to these sources, the detainee has been transferred to the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior, and no official reason for the arrest has been announced yet.
Sources reported on Thursday, February 18, that the trader was arrested the previous day. His name is Abdullah, and he is a resident of the Sefidchehar area in Panjshir province.
As of the time of this report, the Taliban administration has not provided any clarification regarding the reasons behind the detention of this emerald trader. The lack of transparency about the causes of arrests has consistently raised concerns among families and local residents.
