Israeli Drone and Artillery Attacks Target Southern Lebanon Amid Ceasefire
Media sources have reported that Israeli forces launched drone and artillery attacks on several areas in southern Lebanon. Following a ground incursion into one of the villages, they detonated a house. These incidents occurred despite the ceasefire between the two sides being described as intact.
According to regional media, an Israeli drone targeted the village of al-Adaisseh with a sound bomb. No further details have been released regarding damages or possible casualties from this event.
It was also reported that early this morning, Israeli soldiers infiltrated the Wadi al-Asafir area near the southern town of al-Khiyam and detonated a residential building. At the same time, areas surrounding the village of Yaroun were subjected to artillery shelling, with locals reporting the sound of explosions.
These developments come while Lebanon and Israel had previously agreed on a ceasefire. Lebanese sources have condemned these actions as violations of the agreement, but Israeli officials have not yet issued an official response.
