340 Police Officers Graduate from Training Course in Kandahar

The Taliban’s Ministry of Interior Affairs has announced that 340 police officers graduated from a short-term professional and ideological training course at the police training center in Kandahar province.

According to the ministry, the course was conducted under the supervision of the General Command of Training and Education. Officials emphasized that the training programs will continue with the aim of enhancing capacity, strengthening professional skills, and improving the performance of police forces.

During the graduation ceremony, certificates were distributed to the participants, and officials provided them with necessary guidance. The Taliban authorities have not yet released further details regarding the training content, the exact duration of the course, or how the quality of these programs was assessed, raising questions about transparency in the training process and the professionalization of security forces.

Kandahar is considered one of the key provinces in southern Afghanistan, and its police training centers have played a central role in recruiting and training new personnel in recent years.
