Afghan Freedom Front Claims Killing Two Taliban Fighters in Kunduz

The Afghan Freedom Front has announced that two Taliban fighters were killed and two others wounded following an attack by its forces on a Taliban checkpoint in the city of Kunduz. According to the Front, the incident took place in the Bala Hissar area of Kunduz.
On Tuesday, 28th Dalw, the Front released a video claiming to have organized the attack. The footage shows scenes of a nighttime firefight, but the Taliban administration has yet to issue an official response to the claim.
The Freedom Front also stated that the increase in its attacks in Kunduz province and several northern provinces has caused concern for the Taliban administration. Two days earlier, the group also claimed responsibility for another attack in Kunduz, in which it said two Taliban members were killed.
Over the past week, the provinces of Badakhshan, Takhar, and Kunduz have experienced scattered attacks targeting Taliban forces. These ongoing security incidents in the north come as the Taliban administration continues to assert its ability to provide nationwide security—an assertion that faces serious questions and doubts amid persistent armed assaults by opposition groups.
