Taliban Official and Kazakh Ambassador Discuss Humanitarian Aid Delivery to Afghanistan

The Department of Preparedness and Natural Disaster Management under the Taliban announced that Nooruddin Turabi, the head of the department, held a meeting with Akbasov Gaziz, Kazakhstan’s ambassador in Kabul. The main focus of the meeting was the continuation of humanitarian aid and the methods of delivering it to Afghanistan.

According to released information, both sides discussed ensuring the fair distribution of aid and facilitating its transit through the Torghundi crossing in Herat province and the Spin Boldak crossing in Kandahar province. These crossings are key transit routes for transporting commercial goods and humanitarian assistance.

It was also stated that during the meeting, the Kazakh ambassador referred to Afghanistan as a friendly country and emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to continuing cooperation in the field of humanitarian aid. No further details were provided regarding the quantity or type of aid.
