Taliban Forces Prevent Smuggling of 38 Kilograms of Silver to Pakistan in Kandahar

The 205 Al-Badr Corps affiliated with the Taliban administration has announced that its defense forces prevented the smuggling of 38 kilograms of silver to Pakistan. This incident took place on Wednesday night in the Kandahar province.

A statement issued by the corps said that two individuals were arrested on charges of involvement in the case. According to the source, these individuals were detained in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar, near the border with Pakistan.

Spin Boldak is considered one of the main trade crossings between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and in recent years, cases of smuggling various goods and materials through this route have been reported.

The Taliban administration has not yet released further details about the identities of the detainees or how the silver was discovered.
