Taliban Embassy Head in Tehran Attends Iran’s 47th Islamic Revolution Anniversary Ceremony

The acting head of the Taliban administration’s embassy in Tehran, Mawlawi Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, attended the ceremony commemorating the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. The event was attended by high-ranking Iranian government officials as well as diplomatic representatives from various countries.

According to information released by the Taliban administration’s embassy in Tehran, the program was organized to mark the anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, with several ambassadors and diplomats residing in Tehran also participating.

Following the Taliban administration’s takeover of Afghanistan, the Afghan embassies in some countries, including Iran, have been managed by representatives of the Taliban and have taken part in official events of the host countries.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is considered an important neighbor to Afghanistan and hosts millions of Afghan residents, making bilateral relations significant in political, migratory, and economic terms at the regional level.
