Two Dead and Four Injured in Traffic Accident on Kabul-Kandahar Highway in Ghazni

Local officials report that a traffic accident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, within the jurisdiction of Ghazni city center, has resulted in two deaths and four injuries.

The incident occurred last night in the Kotul Rozah area following a collision between a Ranger vehicle and a 580-model vehicle. According to sources, both fatalities were occupants of the Ranger vehicle.

Additionally, four individuals traveling in the 580 vehicle were injured. Authorities say all the injured have been transferred to medical centers for treatment.

The Kabul-Kandahar highway is one of the country’s busiest routes, and traffic incidents on this route once again highlight concerns regarding road safety and traffic management.
