Afghan Freedom Front Fighters Attack Taliban Checkpoint in Kunduz

Local sources report that on Thursday evening, February 5, 2026, Afghan Freedom Front fighters targeted a Taliban administration checkpoint in Azadi Square, Kunduz city. According to these sources, the attack resulted in the death of two Taliban fighters and injuries to three others. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM. During the operation, a Taliban military vehicle was also destroyed. So far, officials from the Taliban administration have not issued any formal response regarding the attack or the casualties.
