Taliban Embassy Chief in Kyrgyzstan Meets with Indian Ambassador to Discuss Cooperation

The Taliban administration’s embassy in Kyrgyzstan announced that Abdul Shakoor Haqqani, the head of the embassy in Bishkek, met and held talks with Birender Singh, the Ambassador of the Republic of India. According to the released information, the main focus of the meeting was to explore ways to expand political, economic, and trade relations between the two sides. Additionally, topics such as visa facilitation, cooperation in health, tourism, investment, and humanitarian aid were discussed. The embassy stated that both parties emphasized strengthening mutual trust and developing joint cooperation. This meeting takes place as the Taliban administration seeks to broaden its regional and international interactions through bilateral talks, a process that continues to face challenges related to political legitimacy and global community concerns.
