Four Residents of Kunduz Detained on Murder Charges

The spokesperson for the Kunduz provincial police command announced that security forces have arrested four local residents in the Dasht Archi district on murder charges.
According to Jumauddin Khaksar, these individuals are accused of shooting and killing three nephews in Dasht Abdan area, along a public highway, over a land dispute.
Khaksar added that the suspects fled the scene after the incident, but security forces identified and apprehended them.
This incident occurred amid ongoing land disputes and the lack of a transparent conflict resolution mechanism, which has repeatedly cost local residents their lives and raised questions about the Taliban administration’s effectiveness in preventing local violence and delivering justice.
