Former Afghan Security Force Member Publicly Executed in Faryab Province

Local sources told Amaj News that today, Friday, a former Afghan security forces member was publicly shot in the market of the Koliyan area, the center of Balchiragh district in Faryab province.

According to these reports, the deceased was named Joreqol and was a resident of the Koliyan area. He was targeted and shot by Mullah Tayeb, known as Sedaghat, who is introduced as the commander of the fourth battalion of the border unit in Khumyal district of Jawzjan province.

Sources stated that this event took place in public, raising serious concerns about blatant human rights violations and the security of local residents. Such actions, especially the public killing of individuals without a transparent judicial process, raise serious questions about the Taliban administration’s commitment to justice and the rule of law.

So far, Taliban officials in Faryab or Jawzjan have not issued an official statement regarding this incident.
