Saudi-led coalition carried out 62 attacks on Yemen in past 24 hours, Houthi spokesman says

Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces, said the Saudi-led coalition carried out 62 air and missile strikes against Sanaa and several other provinces over the past 24 hours.

According to him, Saudi F-15 warplanes targeted civilian sites in Sanaa, Marib, Saada, Lahj and Taiz, killing and wounding a number of civilians, including women and children.

He said the attacks were part of a broader wave of air and missile strikes that have been recorded since the escalation of the conflict against Yemen. Saree had previously said the total number of coalition attacks since the surge in violence began had reached 2,855.

He said the escalation, in addition to increasing the death toll, has severely affected the security and living conditions of Yemen’s people and is worsening the humanitarian disaster in the country.
