Kandahar security forces arrest three suspects in child kidnapping case

Security forces in Kandahar have arrested three people on suspicion of kidnapping a child.

According to Asadullah Jamshid, spokesman for Kandahar’s security command, the individuals abducted a child named Moeed from areas under the control of the province’s Seventh Security District and then demanded money from his family in exchange for his release.

Following the receipt of precise reports, security forces managed to arrest all three suspects. The move is part of efforts to reduce kidnappings and ensure the safety of children in Kandahar province.

Kandahar security command’s public relations office has so far released no further information on the judicial process or the condition of the child.
