Yemen Forces Say They Shot Down Saudi Drone Over Saada

Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces, said a Saudi-owned Wing Loong 2 reconnaissance drone had been shot down in the airspace of Saada province.
He did not provide further details on how the drone was brought down or the exact time of the incident. Yemen’s armed forces have previously said they had shot down several other drones of the same type.
In a separate incident, the forces claimed late on Tuesday that they had targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile. According to their claim, the missile hit its target.
Yemen’s armed forces also said they launched a drone attack on Khamis Mushait air base and claimed the strike hit the target directly. Independent sources have not published details or separate confirmation of these claims.
