Hanifi calls for action on prisoners’ problems at Kandahar Central Prison

Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanifi, a Taliban administration official, led a delegation to inspect conditions at Kandahar Central Prison and urged officials to treat prisoners in accordance with the principles of Islamic sharia and human rights, and to address their problems.

During the inspection, prison administration, education, health care and food services, as well as other sections, were assessed. Hanifi also listened to the prisoners’ problems and suggestions.
