National Resistance Front Confirms Death of Two Commanders in Baghlan

The National Resistance Front has confirmed the deaths of two of its commanders in Baghlan province, saying they were killed in an ambush by Taliban administration forces.
In a statement posted on X on Sunday, 8 September, the front identified the two as Commander Shamsuddin and Commander Baba.
The statement said the two commanders had been present on resistance front lines against the Taliban administration for the past five years under the most difficult conditions.
Earlier, the Taliban administration also reported the killing of four members of the National Resistance Front in the Charsai area of Nahrin district in Baghlan province. Nahrin district is one of the areas of Baghlan in northeastern Afghanistan, a province that has repeatedly witnessed clashes in recent years between Taliban administration forces and its armed opponents.
