Afghanistan United Front Claims Armed Attack Against Taliban Administration in Kandahar

The Afghanistan United Front, led by General Sami Sadat, has announced that its forces carried out their first armed operation against the Taliban administration in Kandahar province.
In a statement released by the front, it was stated that vehicles carrying Taliban forces on the Kandahar-Spīn Boldak route were targeted. According to the front’s claim, the operation took place on the 8th of Asad, and a video from the scene has also been shared on social media.
The Taliban administration has not yet responded to these claims.
The Afghanistan United Front, under the leadership of General Sami Sadat, a senior general of the former republic’s military, was established in 1402 (2023-2024) in the United States. Prior to this, there were no reports of military operations carried out by the front. This event comes amid recent reports of increased activities by anti-Taliban fronts in several provinces across the country.
