Acting Higher Education Minister Emphasizes Obedience to Religious Leader in Paktia

The acting Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban administration emphasized the necessity of obedience to the “Amir Shari” (religious leader) and the implementation of his decrees and orders during a training seminar in Paktia province. This message was directly addressed to school teachers in the province.

According to a statement from the Taliban’s Ministry of Higher Education, the one-day religious and scientific seminar was organized by the Paktia Department of Education for school teachers. During the event, Nida Mohammad Nadim spoke about Islamic policy, the appointment of the Amir Shari, his rights and authorities, and the law of enjoining good and forbidding wrong.

He stated, “The existence of the Amir Shari is obligatory and a divine mercy. Obedience to him in all matters is necessary, and the responsibilities of the Amir Shari are very heavy.”

The acting minister also urged participants to thoroughly learn the decrees and orders, implement them in practice, and encourage others to do the same, according to the ministry. He described the implementation of Islamic policy and the current Sharia system as key to success in both this life and the hereafter, and as the foundation for the country’s progress.
