Afghan Delegation Participates in Tashkent Global Investment Forum

Mawlavi Ahmadullah Zahid, Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, led a delegation at the opening session of the Global Investment Forum held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The forum saw the attendance of senior officials from dozens of countries.

During the opening ceremony, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, spoke about expanding economic integration, developing regional cooperation, and creating new opportunities for investment. He also emphasized strengthening trade relations among regional countries and attracting foreign investment.

According to published information, presidents, prime ministers, and high-ranking officials from about 90 countries participated in the forum. International investors, businessmen, and representatives of economic institutions also took part in the event.

The Tashkent Global Investment Forum is considered one of the most important economic gatherings in the region, aimed at fostering business cooperation and attracting investment among various countries.
