Germany Deports Nearly 30 Afghan Refugees in Charter Flight to Kabul

German authorities have deported nearly 30 Afghan refugees on a charter flight to Kabul. The nighttime flight departed from Leipzig Airport to the Afghan capital.
According to reports, all deported individuals were Afghan men who had been designated for return to Afghanistan by various German states. No details have been released regarding their residency status or specific reasons for their asylum application rejections.
This marks the second group deportation of Afghan refugees from Germany this year. Earlier, in April, 25 other refugees were also transferred to Kabul via a chartered flight.
The deportations come as Afghanistan, under Taliban rule, faces wide-ranging economic crises and severe human rights restrictions, especially impacting women and certain social groups. Human rights organizations have consistently expressed concern over the consequences of forcibly returning Afghans to such conditions.
The Taliban administration has not yet issued a public response to the recent flight.
