Guerrilla Attack in Parwan; One Taliban Member Killed

The Afghanistan Freedom and Justice Movement has announced that a guerrilla attack on a Taliban administrative post in Sayd Khel district of Parwan province resulted in the death of one Taliban member and the injury of another. According to the movement, the attack took place around 1:58 a.m. on Sunday, June 31, in the Bagh Abdullahjan area.
Led by Hamed Saifi, the group claimed that neither its forces nor civilians were harmed during the operation. No further details have been released regarding how the attack was carried out or the condition of the injured individual.
Sayd Khel district is located in Parwan province north of Kabul, a region that has witnessed sporadic security incidents in recent years. The increase in such attacks raises questions about the security situation in areas under Taliban control.
Taliban authorities have not responded to these claims as of the time of this report, and there is no independent confirmation or denial of the incident.
