Haaretz Reports Netanyahu’s Strategy Against Iran Failing Amid Rising Political Divisions

The Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz has reported the failure of Benjamin Netanyahu’s strategy towards Iran, questioning the assessments of recent field achievements amid ongoing developments. Haaretz’s report states that the Israeli officials’ claims of victories and operational gains have largely served as justification and cannot conceal the realities on the ground. The report emphasizes that Netanyahu’s declared strategy against Iran has not achieved its set objectives. Meanwhile, Avigdor Lieberman, leader of the Israel Beiteinu party, has also criticized the Israeli Prime Minister’s performance. Lieberman remarked that someone who has failed to resolve even a single war front over two and a half years is unlikely to do so moving forward. These statements emerge as debates over how to manage tensions and advance announced goals regarding Iran have become one of the main sources of political disagreements within Israel.
