Khanjan-Bano Road in Baghlan Reopens After Flooding

The Public Works Directorate of the Taliban has announced that the Khanjan-Bano road in Baghlan province, which was closed to traffic at several points due to flooding, was reopened this morning.
Mohammad Ashraf Haqshenas, the spokesperson for this directorate, stated that after the flood occurred, operational teams from the Baghlan Public Works Directorate were dispatched to the area and began clearing the route.
According to him, after several hours of effort, these teams were able to clear the damaged sections and make the road accessible again for vehicle traffic.
The Khanjan-Bano highway is considered one of the important transport routes in Baghlan, and its closure during natural disasters can cause significant difficulties for residents’ travel and the transportation of commercial goods.
