Taliban Representative Attends Sheikh Khalifa Prize Inauguration in UAE

The Taliban administration’s embassy in the United Arab Emirates announced that Badruddin Haqqani, the Taliban’s representative in Abu Dhabi, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Sheikh Khalifa Prize.’ The news was shared on the social media platform X on Friday.

According to published information, the ceremony was attended by several senior UAE officials. Among the notable figures present were Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.

Additionally, diplomats, political representatives, and officials from various international institutions and organizations also took part in the event. So far, no further details have been released about possible side meetings or the main topics of discussion.
