Fire at Abonosar Farahi Port Tire Warehouse Brought Under Control
Border officials have announced that a fire broke out in a tire storage warehouse at Abonosar Farahi Port, but the incident caused no casualties. According to them, the fire has been largely contained, and efforts to extinguish it completely are ongoing.
Abdullah Farouqi, spokesperson for the General Directorate of Border Police, stated that after the fire erupted, port staff and relevant authorities immediately took action to prevent its spread.
He added that technical and firefighting teams remain on site, continuing their efforts to fully extinguish the blaze. He emphasized that fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
Abonosar Farahi Port is considered one of the major trade crossings in the western part of the country, and any incidents there could impact the flow of commercial goods.
