Floods in Samangan Leave Four Injured and Cause Significant Damage

The press office of the Samangan Police Command reported that heavy rains and subsequent floods in the Tota and Habash areas have left three women and one man injured. According to the office, the floods have also caused severe financial losses to the residents of these regions.

Provided information indicates that the floods have damaged parts of the road networks linking Samangan to Balkh province and other regions, complicating vehicle traffic.

Samangan, a northern province of the country, faces annual threats from seasonal floods. However, residents consistently complain about the lack of preventive measures and timely response, an issue that requires serious attention from the Taliban administration and responsible agencies involved in disaster management.
