Russia Says It Repelled 560 Ukrainian Drones in Multiple Regions

Russia’s Defence Ministry said its air defence forces shot down and destroyed 560 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions during overnight attacks.

According to Russian media, the attacks were reported in areas including Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd and Voronezh, and Moscow said the drones were intercepted before reaching their intended targets.

In recent months, the war in Ukraine has entered a new phase as drone and missile attacks between Kyiv and Moscow have increased, with both sides stepping up long-range operations against each other.

The war is unfolding alongside Donald Trump’s continued presidency in the United States, after he previously claimed he could end the conflict in less than 24 hours.
